Cocagne River Bridge No. 2

GEMTEC undertook a geotechnical investigation for a new bridge, replacing the multi-span timber-frame bridge over the Cocagne River.

Project highlights include:

• Land-based and barge-drilled borehole investigation
• Conventional boreholes and seismic CPT soundings
• Design recommendations for the approach embankments and pier foundations
• Dynamic pile testing using a Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA)
