Indigenous Engagement

At GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited, we are dedicated to fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous peoples across Canada. We recognize our responsibility to respect Indigenous rights, honour Indigenous knowledge, and engage in meaningful consultation and collaboration. Effectively responding to the needs and concerns of Indigenous peoples requires effort, and to this end we have joined the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program at the Committed Level.

GEMTEC is building our Indigenous engagement efforts to align with the PAIR key drivers which are Leadership Actions, Employment, Business Development, and Community Relationships. By embracing the PAIR framework, we are setting a clear direction for improving our Indigenous engagement efforts company wide. Our goal is to weave these principles into our daily operations and business practices, ensuring that our commitment to Indigenous engagement is not just a policy, but a lived reality.
