GEMTEC was retained for the design of an erosion and sediment control plan for the 120-hectare Lauvina Woods Heavy Equipment Training Area.

Project highlights include:

• Detailed hydrologic and sediment loss analyses
• Survey of cleared portions of the site (50 of the 120 hectares)
• Design of sedimentation ponds, check dams, and other erosion control structures
• Design of several roadways and the ditching system
