Steve Tarrant

Steve joined GEMTEC in January 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of our team. A Professional Geoscientist and graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Steve has built a diverse career spanning exploration geology, mine operations and management, and consulting. Since joining GEMTEC, he has played a key role in growing our mining services and permitting service lines, working closely with clients across the mining sector.

As Interim Branch Manager, Steve's vision is to build on the strong relationships GEMTEC has established with our mining clients while continuing to enhance the services we provide. He also sees exciting opportunities to expand our presence in other sectors, including utilities, government, and related industries. He looks forward to collaborating with other offices to build on each other's strengths.
