Leanne Stein

Leanne is the Interim Branch Manager of our St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador operations. Leanne is a Geotechnical and Mining Engineer with over 12 years of diverse engineering experience.

A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Leanne furthered her specialization with a Certificate in Mining Technology from Queen’s University. Her career has spanned a wide range of multidisciplinary projects across Newfoundland and Labrador, with experience in both geotechnical and mining engineering.

Leanne’s experience includes site-wide geotechnical programs, baseline hydrogeological investigations, mine tailings dam design and management, dam safety reviews and inspections, slope stability and retaining wall analyses, development of mine rehabilitation and closure plans and mine closure costing, quarry compliance documentation, heavy civil and mining construction, and numerous construction-scale geotechnical investigations throughout the province.
