Dan Babcock

Dan Babcock is the Branch Manager and Geotechnical Lead for GEMTEC’s London operations. With a master’s degree in civil engineering from Queen’s University in 2005, Dan brings over 20 years of experience in geotechnical and materials engineering consulting services and project management, with a focus on foundations, slope stability, trenchless operations, pavement design and multi-disciplinary investigations for civil, land development and municipal clients in Southwestern Ontario.

Throughout the years, Dan has been MTO RAQS qualified for detailed bridge deck condition surveys and has held leadership and management roles for teams in Hamilton, Sarnia and London. He has also held a leadership role with the Canadian Geotechnical Society (London Chapter) and is GEMTEC’s representative for the ACEC (London Branch).
