Stewart Gibson

Stewart Gibson is GEMTEC’s Associate Vice President, Operations – Ontario, bringing over 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, project management, and team leadership across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Stewart joined GEMTEC in 2021 as a Senior Biologist before taking on the role of Ecology and Permitting Services Lead – Atlantic in 2023.

Throughout his career, Stewart has worked on a wide range of infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, transportation, and land development projects. His experience includes environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, ecological investigations, and multidisciplinary project coordination.

He is driven by his passion for building strong teams, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and developing client relationships. In his role as Associate Vice President, Operations, he is committed to supporting GEMTEC’s continued growth in Ontario, creating opportunities for professional development, and contributing to the long-term success of GEMTEC and its people.
