Marc Boucher

Marc Boucher is our Associate Vice President, Operations, Atlantic, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Marc is a geotechnical engineer and project manager with nearly 15 years of consulting experience. He initially joined GEMTEC in 2013 as a summer student and has been with GEMTEC full-time since completing his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of New Brunswick in 2014.

Throughout his time at GEMTEC, Marc has demonstrated first-hand GEMTEC’s core value of empowerment, taking on numerous progressively responsible technical and management roles, from summer student through to executive leadership. These roles have included geotechnical engineer, project manager, team lead, and Branch Manager across our Fredericton, NB; Halifax, NS; and Moncton, NB offices.

Marc’s areas of practice include heavy civil construction project management, geotechnical engineering, dynamic pile testing, Cone Penetration Testing, and materials testing and inspection services. Marc believes GEMTEC’s greatest strength is its people and is committed to fostering an environment where all employees can thrive, build on their strengths, collaborate, strengthen client relationships, and make a meaningful impact in our communities.
